GA Wing NCO Academy

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

When submitting your registration, please follow ALL STEPS listed in eServices so there is no delay in securing your spot.

The goal of the Georgia Wing Cadet Noncommissioned Officer Academy (C/NCOA) is to provide cadet NCOs with a foundation for the intermediate phases of the cadet training in Civil Air Patrol. C/NCOA stresses the fundamental aspects of instructional techniques, evaluation methods and intermediate leadership laboratory skills.

Each cadet NCO that graduates the C/NCOA will have basic knowledge of:

1.     The ability to instruct a class or make a presentation on a CAP related subject;

2.     The ability to drill a flight;

3.     The ability to evaluate another cadet in drill and in inspection;

4.     Expected performance: Each cadet will be responsible for all the material presented during C/NCOA.

The GAWG C/NCOA is a cadet program owned by cadets and taught by cadets. Much like most training courses and events within cadet programs, the cadets have 100% ownership. With the guidance of a core team of adult leaders, they are building the curriculum, conducting interviews for the cadet staff and planning the entire academy.
